When in Adambakkam, don't skip the food! The breakfast places are mostly South Indian, with dosas and idlis and hot but mild sambhar like grandma used to make! The morning bustle at these places is part of the local culture too, as people gather for some strong coffee and talk to one another loudly. North Indian dhabas and small bakeries, which sell fresh bread and pastries, operate alongside numerous street food carts which offer sundal, pani puri and fresh fruit throughout the evening.
